It’s one of our most iconic public art exhibitions, and now in its 14th year, Sculpture by the Sea returns to Cottesloe with a host of new and breathtaking sculptures for the family to enjoy.

This annual exhibition attracts around 220, 000 visitors each year, and continues to grow in popularity with impressive artwork from around the world. This year, more than 70 Australian and International artists will be exhibiting their work in the 18-day event, with an outstanding 28 artists from Western Australia.

One of this year’s showstoppers will be ‘Floating Rock’ by contemporary Chinese artist Zhan Wang, which is a new piece created specifically for Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe. This stainless-steel rock will float on the water of Cottesloe Beach, and is sure to be a favourite amongst visitors.

Sculpture by the Sea is a family friendly event, and is free to the public; however, visitors are welcome to ‘Buy a Mile’, with a $1 donation going towards the cost of transporting the artworks, so that this event can continue to impress and enchant visitors for years to come.
